Deana Carter is a legend…and probably the sweetest, kindest country music superstar in the world!

I’m still processing this moment…but singing the song that changed both our lives…together, 30 years after it was originally released, is a moment that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

I was so impressed by her kindness and generosity in spending a little time in her private studio with me, talking music, singing songs and sharing her story.

She even let me hold the CMA Award she won for “Strawberry Wine”…just moments before giving her blessing to release the wonderful song too.

There are moments in your life you will always remember…and this is one of those. Thank you to Deana and her entire wonderful family.
